1.       Mechanical inspectors

Qualification

a)      API 510 certificate and/or API 570 certificate & CSWIP 3.2, and/or API 653, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Discipline from a reputed institute.

b)   The candidate shall be in a good physically and fit condition. The candidate shall be able to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.

c)  The candidate shall be fully familiar with construction drawings, isometric and P. & I.Ds.

d)  The candidate shall be computer literate and familiar with MS Word and Excel.

e)   The candidate shall be able to work under own initiative. The work entails a high percentage of time on site.
Experience

a)  The candidate shall have minimum ten (10) years’ experience in the oil and gas related business for Diploma holders / five (5) years for Bachelor of Engineering.

b)  Hold Valid API certification for a minimum of three (3) years.

c)  The candidate shall have proven experience of in- service inspection on oil/gas process facilities.

d)  The candidate shall be familiar with all aspects of pressure relieving devices, conventional and “in service” NDT techniques.

e)  The candidate shall have the ability to pass QP Permit to Work system.

f)  The candidate shall be familiar with NDT techniques and valid level- II NDT certificates.
15.   Welding Inspectors

 

Qualification

a)    CSWIP 3.2.2 minimum requirement. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Discipline from a reputed institute.

b)  The candidate shall be able to communicate, fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.

c)  The candidate shall be fully familiar with construction drawings, isometric and P. & I.Ds.

d)  The candidate shall be computer literate and familiar with MS Word and Excel. He shall be able to work under own initiative.

e)  The work entails a high percentage time on site.
Experience

a) The candidate shall have minimum ten (10) years’ experience in the oil and gas related business for Diploma holders / five (5) years for Bachelor of Engineering// b) He shall have proven experience of in plant/construction welding inspection on oil/gas process facilities.

c)  The candidate shall be familiar with NDT techniques and valid level- II NDT certificates .

d)  Hold Valid CSWIP 3.2.2 certification for a minimum of three (3) years.

e) Candidate shall have the ability to pass QP Permit to Work system and Consolidated Permit to Work system.
2.       Painting/insulation inspectors

Qualification

a)  The candidate shall possess a minimum NACE Certified Coating Inspector Level 2, BGas CSWIP Level 2 or ICORR Level 2, for a period of at least three (3) years. Diploma in Mechanical / chemical /civil Engineering with 10 years’ experience or Graduate in chemical or Mechanical Engineering with 5 years’ Experience from Reputed institute

b)  Although the primary role shall be as painting inspector, the inspector shall also be required to inspect insulation and for this reason candidates having certification to ICORR Level 2 (or similar respected certification authority) for Insulation Inspector are preferred.
Experience

a)     The candidate shall have painting inspection experience a minimum of 10 ( years) for Diploma holders/ five (5) years for Graduate

b) He shall have the ability to pass QP Permit Work System and Consolidated Permit to Work system.

3.       Cathodic protection technicians

Qualification

Shall be qualified to NACE CP Technician (CP2) level (or equivalent). Diploma in Mechanical / chemical / Electrical Engineering/ with 10 years’ experience or Graduate in chemical / Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering with 5 years’ Experience from Reputed institute
Experience

The candidate shall have not less than 10 (years) for Diploma holders/ five (5) years for Graduate relevant experience and be fully skilled in carrying out DCVG surveys. Age shall be not less than 30 years and not more than 45 years. He shall have the ability to pass QP Permit

to Work system and Consolidated Permit to Work system
4.       Cathodic protection engineers

a.       Shall possess Graduate Engineering in Electrical or Metallurgical or Mechanical Engineering as minimum.

b.       NACE CP level II certification as minimum.

c.        Eight to Ten years of working experience in oil and gas field

d.       Five years of similar working experience as Cathodic Protection Engineer.

e.       Capable to carryout SACP and ICCP surveys

f.         Capable to review the field monitored data and interpret the results

g.       Proficient in CIPS and DCVG surveys and interpretations.

h.       Proficient in PSP surveys and interpretations

i.         Capable to carry out the Tank internals/bottom CP surveys and interpretations.

j.         Capable to understand the CP failure root cause and provide recommendations.

k.        Prepare monitoring reports.

l.         Coordinate to work with QP Corrosion Management team.

m.     Ability to provide quality reports in accordance with QP procedure

n.       Good command of English language both written and spoken is required

 

5.       Corrosion engineers

Qualification

a)   Candidate shall has any of the engineering degrees:

I.        Bachelor’s degree in Material Science and Engineering

II.        Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering.

III.        Bachelor’s/ degree in Chemical Engineering

 

b)  The candidate shall be able to communicate, fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.

c)  He shall be computer literate and familiar with MS Word and Excel. He shall be able to work under own initiative.

d)  The work entails a high percentage time on site.
Experience

a)   The candidate shall have minimum ten (10) years documented CP experience.

b)    He shall have the ability to pass QP Permit to Work system and Consolidated Permit to Work system.
6.       Corrosion technician

a.       Technical Diploma (Higher National Diploma or equivalent) in Chemistry, Materials Engineering or Metallurgy as minimum.

b.       Minimum three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in Corrosion monitoring in oil & gas fields, with knowledge and experience of corrosion probe rate measurements using handheld ER and LPR meters, which will be provided by QP.

c.        Ability to interpret the weight loss coupon data

d.       Proficient to carry out the chemical injection rate checking.

e.       Proficient to carryout Corrosion inspections.

f.        Ability to prepare quality preliminary reports in accordance with QP procedure

g.       Good command of English language both written and spoken is required.

 

7.       Project instrument engineers

Qualification

Bachelor of Engineering in Instrumentation & Control

Discipline from a reputed institute.
Experience

The candidate shall have minimum ten (10) years’ experience in FEED/Detail Engineering design works, Installation, Commissioning and Contract’s Management in projects for Oil & Gas processing plants such as NGL Process Plants, Gas Distribution Plants and Storage & Loading facilities.

 

The position requires to work INDEPEDENTLY as a Project Engineer on behalf of QP Operation Engineering Department (OE(M)) for all Management of Change Projects

 

The candidate shall have experience in General Instrumentation, PLC (Rockwell Automation, Modicon), DCS (ABB, Honeywell, etc.), Functional safety systems (Honeywell, ICS triplex, HIMA ,Yokogawa etc.) and Turbo-machinery control systems (GE,CCC etc.) Experience in multi- vendor system integration will be required.

 

Candidates familiar with Shell / QP standards and procedures will be preferred.

 

8.       Project electrical engineers

Qualification

Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical & Electronics discipline from an internationally recognized institute.
Experience

The candidate shall have Ten (10) years’ experience in FEED/Detail     Engineering     design    works,    Installation, Commissioning and Contract’s Management in projects for Oil & Gas processing plants (NGL Process Plants, Gas Distribution Plants and Oil Storage & Loading Plant). The position requires to work INDEPEDENTLY as a Project Engineer on behalf of QP Operation Engineering Department (OE(M)) for all Management of Change Projects.

The candidate shall have experience in General Electrical Distribution Network, (33KV, 11KV, 3.3KV and 415V, and associated Stepdown transformers), Motor Control system, Data management system, Electrical Network analysis, Emergency system (Diesel Generators, UPS, BC), Hazardous Area Classification and Power protection system HV /LV. Experience in multi- vendor system integration will be an advantage.

Candidates familiar with Shell / QP standards and procedures will be preferred.
9.       Project civil engineers

Qualification

Civil Engineers with 10 years’ experience in

oil and gas relevant discipline.
Experience

The candidate shall have ten (10) years’ experience in engineering design works and Contracts implementation in projects for hydrocarbon

processing plants.
10.    Instrument construction supervisors

Qualification

Bachelor of Engineering in Instrumentation & Control Discipline from a reputed institute.
Experience

The candidate shall have minimum seven (07) years’ experience     in    Supervisory     level    for    Construction     and

Commissioning of projects in Oil & Gas processing plants such as NGL Process Plants, Gas Distribution Plants and Storage & Loading facilities.

 

The position requires to work INDEPEDENTLY as Instrument Supervisor on behalf of QP Operation Engineering Department (OE (M)) for all Management of Change Projects Construction and Commissioning/ hand over.

 

The candidate shall have experience in General Instrumentation, PLC (Rockwell Automation, Modicon),DCS (ABB, Honeywell, etc.), Functional safety systems (Honeywell, ICS triplex, HIMA ,Yokogawa etc.) and Turbo-machinery control systems (GE,CCC etc.) Experience in multi- vendor system integration will be an advantage.

11.    Mechanical construction supervisors

Qualification

Mechanical Engineer followed by four (4) years formal training in relevant discipline.
Experience

The candidate shall have seven (7) years’ experience, Five (5) of which at supervisory level.
12.    Rotating equipment technician

Purpose          of

Job:

Provides maintenance support to Operations Engg , Rotating

machinery group.
Educational Qualification:

·  Mill wright fitter/ Technical Higher Secondary School Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

·  Good written and oral communication skills in English
Experience:

·  Minimum 8 years of diversified experience in Turbo machinery maintenance, covering Gas Turbines, Centrifugal compressor and Multistage centrifugal Pumps.

·  Experience of using personal computers, specifically Access (Data Base Management), Excel and Word (Latest Versions).
13.    IMS technician

a.       Diploma in Mech. Eng., Chem. Eng. Or Metallurgy

b.       Recognized qualification in API 580 & API581

c.        Moderate level Microsoft user (Word & Xcel).

d.       Good command of English language both written and spoken.

e.       Minimum five (5) years in the inspection field and a good mechanical background knowledge.

f.        Minimum three (3) years in data entry into any inspection management system RBMI or APMS
