A new update from MoI on visa-free entry for Indians – Traveller can carry a valid debit or credit card
During the first week of November, Ministry of Interior on its website updated the rules to obtain on arrival visa for Indians. The new update said, from 11th of November 2018 visa can be obtained only for 30 days and cannot be extended. Also, it was made mandatory for the visitor to hold a valid credit card (in visitors name or the male head of a family)
In a recent announcement on the MoI website, Ministry of Interior has made a further update on the rules to obtain on arrival visa for Indians. As per the new update, a traveler can carry a valid debit or credit card. When traveling as a family, the family head should have a card in his name.
“Applicant must be in possession of a valid credit or debit card (Mandatory to present a valid credit or debit card in the name of the traveller; in case of travelling with family, the family head should have a card in his name),” said the announcement on the MoI website.

Dear Rohit, No need of hotel booking. Ask them to carry a copy of your QID and address where they are going to stay. In immigration if they ask about stay they can tell that they are going to stay with you and show your ID and address. – QatarIndians.com Team
